Alles op Rood! In Theatres from This Autumn
- It had everything to be a special year. And it was… just not in the way we expected. What do you do in times when things go wrong? Do you keep following your dream? Or do you choose security? In these strange times I’m suddenly facing that choice again. Just like 10 years ago: all theatres closed. No more shows. What am I going to do? And what is that dream exactly? Why do I do what I do? Why did I choose 10 years ago to throw aside all my certainties. And went ALL IN.
Fortunately I still get to take my new tour ‘Alles op Rood’ (All In) into the theatres! I’ll take you on a musical journey through the past 10 years. Fate will also play a very important role during the show, which means no two evenings are the same! I’m taking my livestreaming experience onto the stage. So expect a multimedia experience that’s genuinely something to behold. Let yourself be surprised!
An EP of the same name will also be released in September. My first fully Dutch-language record, for which I collaborated with among others Peter Slager and Paskal Jakobsen of BLØF. On this EP my ‘corona’ songs ‘Alles komt weer goed’ (Everything Will Be Alright) and ‘Dichterbij dan ooit’ (Closer Than Ever). But also single ‘De Tijd Dat Alles Kon En Mocht’ (The Time When Everything Was Possible) is included.
Want to be there early? This month I’m playing the first 2 try-outs, from September the tour starts. The remaining dates to follow ASAP. You can find the tour dates here when available. I’m really looking forward to being on stage again, especially after the success of ‘Gitaarmannen, van Clapton tot Sheeran’ (Guitar Heroes, from Clapton to Sheeran). In the theatre I feel completely in my element!
