TOP SONG: New single What I Like About You!

Yesterday my new single ‘What I Like About You’ was released. A song I wrote about a month ago and immediately recorded. Sometimes as a songwriter you get stuck. It just won’t come. You want to write the best song ever, and that’s the wrong approach. That was happening to me too. I’d been stuck for weeks, nothing was coming, I didn’t know what I wanted to write about. Then suddenly I had it: how was I actually feeling? Well, pretty good, as it turned out. I’ve got a great girlfriend by my side, two wonderful kids. What more could a person want? So I thought: I’m just going to write a happy song. What do I care! It doesn’t always have to be doom and gloom. At that moment ‘What I Like About You’ came to me, and I knew: this is the one!

I recorded and mixed it in my studio, and now you can listen to it too! The cherry on top is that the song was named NPO Radio 2 Top Song today! Already my 4th top song (Tricks Up My Sleeve, Like December, Guitar and now WILAY).
