Alles op Rood: the Reboot!

Miracles are still happening in this world, and fortunately Covid is almost out of ours! ;)

In other words: the government is letting me perform again! And I can tell you: I’ve been waiting for this (understatement of the year). My show ‘Alles op Rood’ (All In) was just starting to pick up steam when I had to go back home. Luckily I can fill my van with guitars again and I’m going to tell you exactly where I’ll be performing! Grab a pen and paper?

After the success of his first theatre show ‘Gitaarmannen: van Clapton tot Sheeran’ (Guitar Heroes: from Clapton to Sheeran), Ed Struijlaart is back with a personal show. In Alles op Rood, Ed takes you on his musical journey of the past 10 years.

From the moment Ed saw Eric Clapton on television at age nine, he knew his future lay in music. But do you dare make that leap, and when? Where do you start? How do you turn your dreams into reality? And what do you do when things go wrong? In 2010 Ed Struijlaart made that bold decision. He quit his job to fully dedicate himself to his great passion: music.

10 years later Ed suddenly faced the same choice again, though this time forced upon him. His calendar wiped clean by Covid. What should he do? Keep following the musical dream? Or choose security? The show that was originally meant to be a celebration of 10 years as a musician became a search for the core of Ed’s musical existence. A defining test of his resilience.
