Veronica Express rides through the Netherlands

Wow, what a trip the Veronica Express was! On Friday 9 June the Veronica Express rode through the whole of the Netherlands, picking up musicians and listeners along the way, and making music together. In spontaneous combinations, unrehearsed. Just do it - that was the motto. When it actually works… that feeling is the best in the world! Like during the ‘Hit The Road Jack’ jam with Sven Figee, Marlon Pichel, Janneke Nijhuis and the peerless Marc Janssen.

I also played my new single ‘Move On’ live for the very first time (it comes out on 22 June!). I’ll put the link in the comments below.

Thanks to Radio Veronica for taking such good care of everything! It was all more than brilliantly organised! The DJ and production team were at the top of their game. A massive shout-out to Sterre, who sorted everything for us artists. We had everything we needed. Ferdi and Leon who got everything under control technically, time after time, under high pressure and temperatures. And I’m still forgetting a lot of people.

You get the picture: I had a great time and wouldn’t have missed it for the world! The Veronica Express was brilliant.
